Projects in the new year will include agricultural facilities planning; planning and environmental assessments (EAs) for native Hawaiian communities; EAs, Special Management Area (SMA) permits, and Shoreline Setback Variances for infrastructure projects; and resource management plans for our native Hawaiian and ʻāina-based non-profit clients.
We will train staff, but the ideal candidate will already have some familiarity and experience with EAs, SMAs, and other land use regulations and permitting and are either students obtaining a graduate degree in Planning, Natural Resources Management, Hawaiian Studies, or related field, or are in professional practice with up to two to three years of relevant experience.
