Mākaha Valley Flood Study

TOWNSCAPE worked with the State Department of Land and Natural Resources Engineering Department to conduct a flood study for Mākaha Valley. The study included stakeholder consultations with community members, businesses, land owners, state and city agencies, and elected officials, a series of focus group and larger community meetings.

Hydrological and hydraulic modeling calculated flood flows, and analysis work identified strategies and projects that will reduce flooding of homes and businesses in the valley.
